Two part question...about Abu Dhabi?

#1. Can anyone tell me how much it will cost to have a part-time maid? (working around 20-30 hrs a week)
A. Are maids on average, trustworthy, reliable?

#2. I am looking to join a golf club in Abu Dhabi, but my wife does not play golf. Are there any clubs in Abu Dhabi that have a good fitness room, swimming pool, and also golf course? I already know about the Sheraton in Abu Dhabi...but there's a waiting list for the Golf Membership. Anywhere else? And do you know the price for memberships?

If you hire a maid hourly, it will be more expensive then hiring a live in maid. The ones getting paid by the hour will cost you around Dhs 20,00 the hour.
When it comes up trusting somebody who might be left in my house alone I would trust a live in maid much more than a maid who is on husband's or father's sponsorchip. If she can not be trusted you might find out after she left the country.
Of course you can find maids working hourly who can be trusted, no matter what a nationality. I prefer Fillipina maids older than 30 years who maybe have a family on their own and know what to do and are able to cook.
